Health:
On the northern Costa Blanca you will find mild winters, plenty of sunshine throughout the year and one of the best microclimate in the world (WHO). The pure and fresh air (no industry) and the healthy Mediterranean cuisine contribute to a stable health. English speaking doctors are at your disposal

Access:

Easy access through the international airports of Valencia and Alicante, both depending on the location about 1 - 1.5. hour drive away. Pleasant motorway access via the AP7 from the north

Location:
The northern Costa Blanca is ideally located for excursions and trips to the beautiful inland, to Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia or Alicante. Excellent infrastructure with easy connections to the Spanish motorway network rounds off the ideal location. Ferries from Denia allow a trip to Ibiza, Mallorca or Formentera.

Sports: Golf, tennis, water sports, hiking, horseback riding, skiing in the winter areas of Teruel or the Sierra Nevada

Catering: Very large diversity, from cheap daily menu to gastronomic experience for gourmets. For example, in Javea at TripAdvisor over 100 restaurants of total 300 have a vote of 4.5 out of 5 or more. This speaks for superior quality.

Leisure: A wide range of shopping centers, daily live music in restaurants or bars (also out of season), music festivals, local festivals (like Fallas, Moros y Cristianos, Hogueres etc.), many amusement parks for young and old.

Many places in this region are former fishing village, which have evolved into sophisticated coastal villages without losing its charm. They have become popular destinations for upscale international clientele. Spaniards from large cities love to spend the summer here in their holiday residences.

Javea:
The old town has kept its charm and has a large range of tapas bars. In the harbor, freshly caught fish is offered. Restaurants and bars on the promenade of the Port area and the sandy beach El Arenal offer an immensely large supply of various plates. Javea has many sports and leisure activities to offer. The area of Javea extends to an area of 68 km². Here are the different urbanizations with their villas. You will find in Javea a large sandy beach, small bays and breathtaking rock cliffs. The population is 30,000 but rises again by tourists, especially during the summer months.

Moraira- Teulada:
It is a little gem, which has evolved from a small fishing village to a popular tourist destination. The original charm has been preserved. Moraira has a small harbor, a sandy beach and some small pleasant bays. Moraira belongs to the municipality of Teulada which is 4-km inland. The valleys with their traditional fincas (farmhouses) are located around the center of Teulada. The total area of Teulada is 32 km² with 12,000 residents. Again, the population multiplies in the summer months.

Benissa:
Rather a small community, in terms of area size (70 km²) but only 14,000 residents. The old town is located 275 meters above sea level inland. Here you can still find fincas (farmhouses) with large plots. A lot of individual villas can be found on the 4km long coastline. Some small bays invite you to chill out.

Moraira Alicante Alicante Bernia

Benitachell:
A traditional, small community which center is located Inland. To the municipality belongs an area with a 2-kilometer-long coastal strip. The total area of Benitachell has 12 km2 with 4,600 inhabitants. A large part of the municipal territory is used for agricultural cultivation. But the place is also marked by some urbanizations, the largest and most famous is Cumbre del Sol where you can find villas and apartments often with fantastic sea views. Here is located the bay Moraig which is an ideal place for swimming and diving.

Denia:
Denia has more an urbanized character. It is also the capital of the northern Costa Blanca. The total area of Denia has 66 km² with 46,000 inhabitants. Thanks to its kilometers of beaches, Denia is a popular tourist destination. Again, the population multiplies a lot in the summer months. From the port of Denia leave the ferries for to the Balearic Islands. In the harbor, freshly caught fish is offered. Restaurants and bars on the promenades offer typical local dishes. Denia offers many sports and leisure opportunities.

Altea:
Altea is a small coastal town with a high-altitude, characterful old town. The total area of Altea has 34 km² with 23,000 residents. The urban area consists of 2 centers (the Mediterranean and Altea La Vieja in the interior), as well as numerous residential areas in the vicinity. Along the 6 km long bay of Altea you will find several beaches with numerous bays. The town has a marina and a fishing port.
